Delete your Sph3re account

Sph3re is a social gaming application published by Inv0lv3. This page explains how to request the deletion of your Sph3re account and its associated data, what is erased, and what is retained despite the deletion.

From the app, in four steps

Open Sph3re and sign in to your account.
Go to Settings, then Privacy.
Scroll down to the Security section and choose "Delete my account".
Confirm with your password. Deletion is immediate and permanent: you do not need to contact us.

Before you delete

You can export all of your data from Settings, then Privacy. Do this before deleting: afterwards it is no longer possible.
If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it first, otherwise billing would continue at our payment provider.

What is erased

Your identifying data: email address, username, password, and date of birth if you provided one.
Your profile: nickname, picture, wallpaper, biography, links to your gaming accounts.
Your settings, friend lists, group memberships and active sessions.
The files you uploaded and that belong to you: photos, videos, sounds, recordings.

What is retained, and for how long

Messages you posted in shared conversations are not destroyed but anonymised: they are detached from your identity. Without this, other members' conversations would become unreadable.
Technical records used to fight abuse, in particular IP addresses and sanctions, are kept for six months — unless they are evidence attached to an incident still being handled.
Accounting records related to your payments are kept for the period required by French law, which we cannot shorten.
None of this retained data allows us to contact you again or to rebuild your account.

If you can no longer access the application

Email us from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion". We verify that the request comes from you, then delete the account within thirty days and confirm in writing: 4hm3du51v3@gmail.com
